Standard Agent Terms & Conditions
A public summary of the Blu Dot SA Standard Agent Program. Effective 1 May 2026.
Blu Dot Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd (Reg: 2020/459018/07), trading as Blu Dot SA.
Purpose of the Standard Agent Program
The Blu Dot SA Standard Agent Program allows independent contractors to promote Blu Dot SA internet solutions — including fibre, LTE and other internet services — and earn commission on successful customer activations. The program is intended for individual agents only.
Eligibility requirements
To take part, an individual must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Have a valid South African ID
- Have a working mobile number
- Be able to communicate professionally
- Agree to Blu Dot SA's rules and standards
Approval is not guaranteed. Blu Dot SA may decline or remove applicants at its discretion.
Agent responsibilities
Agents are expected to:
- Promote Blu Dot SA honestly and professionally
- Provide accurate information to customers
- Use only their assigned QR code
- Respect customer privacy and consent
- Follow the official onboarding process
- Protect Blu Dot SA's brand and reputation
Agents may not:
- Enter customer details on a customer's behalf
- Mislead customers
- Promise installation dates
- Accept cash
- Misrepresent coverage or speeds
- Create their own marketing material
- Share internal information
- Engage in spam or harassment
Fraud & misconduct
Blu Dot SA has a zero-tolerance policy for:
- Fake signups
- Self-referrals
- Misuse of QR codes
- Signing up customers without their consent
- Providing false information
Any misconduct may result in immediate removal from the program, blacklisting, loss of commission, and reporting to industry fraud databases.
Commission
Agents earn commission only when:
- A customer signs up by scanning the agent's allocated QR code
- The customer completes onboarding
- The service is installed and activated
Commission values are confidential and provided only to approved agents.
No employment relationship
Agents operate as independent contractors, not employees. No benefits, salaries or employment rights apply.
POPIA & customer privacy
Agents must respect customer privacy and may not:
- Collect customer information manually
- Store customer data
- Share customer details
- Screenshot onboarding flows
All customer information is handled through Blu Dot SA's secure systems.
Approval process
Completing the public application form does not guarantee approval. Only approved applicants receive the full legal documents, the operational policy, the commission schedule, and their unique Agent QR Code. These documents must be signed before an agent is activated.
Updates
Blu Dot SA may update these Public Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued participation indicates acceptance of any updates.
