Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal information. Last updated 22 May 2026.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Blu Dot Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2020/459018/07), trading as Blu Dot SA ("Blu Dot SA", "we", "us"). We are an internet service provider that sells and onboards customers through a WhatsApp-based platform.
We are committed to protecting your personal information and to handling it in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
2. What this policy covers
This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website — including general visitors and people who apply to our Standard Agent Program. Customer onboarding, payments and document collection happen on our WhatsApp Automation Platform and are governed by the terms presented to you there.
3. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- Agent applicants: your name, mobile number, email address, date of birth, province and town, and any details you choose to share in the application form.
- Website visitors: standard technical information such as your device type, browser and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
We ask for an agent applicant's South African ID and supporting documents only later, during onboarding of approved applicants — not through this website.
4. How we use your information
- To assess and respond to Standard Agent Program applications
- To contact you about your application or enquiry
- To operate, secure and improve this website
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations
We process agent-application information on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit the form. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us — though this may mean we cannot process your application.
5. Cookies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies to keep the site working and to understand how it is used. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
6. Who we share information with
We share personal information only as needed to provide our services, including with:
- Trusted service providers who help us operate the website and process agent applications, under appropriate confidentiality and data-processing terms
- Fibre Network Operators and our wholesale connectivity supplier, where relevant to delivering a service you have requested
- Authorities or regulators where we are legally required to do so
We do not sell your personal information.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Information submitted through this site is transmitted over a secure (HTTPS) connection.
8. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
9. Your rights
Under POPIA you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or update it
- Ask us to delete it, where we are not required to keep it
- Object to certain processing, and withdraw consent
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@bludotsa.co.za. We aim to respond within 30 working days, at no cost to you.

11. Complaints
